Find this boastful poacher and put him in jail

A picture of a hunter boasting after catching a protected wildcat has prompted netizens to demand that the authorities act.

The man said on Facebook he had "got a great catch" in a sugar cane field last night and he was "so lucky".

He may be less lucky if the authorities find out who he is - there are fines of 40,000 baht and jail terms of 4 years for hunting and killing protected species.

Manager suggested the animal was a leopard cat or what the Thais call "maew dao" or "seua pla" (fishing cat).

The animal cannot be kept as a pet or hunted.

The images were shared to the site "Social HunterV.ss".

If there was a sincere interest in catching "scumbag", I think there's already quite a lot here for a good detective to go on. (good detective ..... LOL)

More power to them (the detectives)!

Wai not?

Boastful poacher? More like a piece of sh** to me.

well.. total unawareness, and he can get away with his ignorance about endangered species

The concerned agencies should educate the people more

Don't worry, with the average intelligence of most Thai criminals,he will adorn his motorbike helmet,or his head with it when he drives around and get nabbed.

And yet another ignorant a**hole with absolutely no regard for what little wildlife is left in Thailand. I bet he feels like a true hero.

It also doesn't exactly help the public to possibly identify who the scumbag is if his face is pixelated. Expose the poacher!

A dufus on two fronts. First for being a poacher, second for not understanding social media. He will be apprehended shortly. I hope that he is prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law and the judge gives him the maximum sentence the law allows.

In an effort to find this person I realized that with normal vision it would be impossible since all faces were clear. I then donned a pair of spectacles which blurred my vision and immediately saw hundreds of suspects so watch out perp!

Rot in hell scumbag.

Mentality of normal Thai male educated in the local school system which doesn't encourage compassion for the natural world
