Crossing over to Myanmar and Laos for day trip from Golden Triangle

Hi,

If you're on Non-B visa and working in Thailand, do you need a re-entry done to cross over to the border market of Myanmar or to Don Laos just for a day trip?

 

I was in the area more than a decade back on ED visa and did the crossings and I don't recall having to do re-entry - but things may have changed now..

Of course you'll need a re-entry permit or you'll cause your current visa or extension to expire. Things have changed.
