Wonder where should i go to dispose 2 cans of gasoline. Would any gas station happily takes them?

 

Stored in home 2 yrs ago when i did fuel tank repair. Now trunk got rust, need empty cans to drain the remaing fuel and drop tank again... pita.  ????

You might want to try a local b-quick or similar, petrol stations wont help. These service centers may take it for a few baht.....

But what will the shops do with it is the question ?

I have not heard of any place in LOS who will remove contaminates from oil so it may be reused. My guess - out the back door and on to the ground.

Just one quart of oil can contaminate up to a quarter million gallons of drinking water or cause an oil slick almost 2 acres in size.

Hence my statement that burning is the most environmentally friendly way to dispose of it.

There's plenty of 'counterfeit' motor oil around in Thailand, so I guess they used the old oils for that

Petrol/gasoline can be used as a parts cleaner by local mechanic,

old oil is taken by the "scavengers" that check the bins everyday..it can/is turned into diesel.

Same as Veedol ( Veedoil ? ) in UK I remember from years ago.
