Fans of the iconic film series Home Alone are struggling to get to grips with the fact that a film within the first two films isn’t actually real.

 

Fans of the classic ‘90s film series starring Macaulay Culkin (now 38), who played the abandoned child Kevin McCallister (and recently reprised the role for a hilarious advert) , will recall him gleefully watching a violent black and white movie.

 

The film, titled Angels with Filthy Souls, featured in the first Home Alone film and saw a gangster shooting dead a rival before declaring” “and keep the change, ya filthy animal.”

 

In the 1992 sequel, Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, a sequel to the gangster film, titled Angels with Even Filthier Souls, is also seen.
