if it has been three days you must go right away. you need to do a stool sample to find out what the issue is.

What no antibiotics? Get to a chemist and tell them your symptoms.

I personally wouldn't worry about a doctor at the 3 day stage. Keep up electrolytes and get those antibiotics!

OP: had a similar problem in Thailand and was prescribed 4 tablets of Flagyl to be taken all at once; it worked within a few hours.. However, you may wish to take on NCC1701A's advise if wish to be more cautious.

Go to the doctor now; if you've been losing 3 + litres of fluid for 3 days, you need rehydration very quickly.
