Non-Immigrant O Marriage Multi Visa

Featured Replies

So I've got my visa and am flying out this week arriving into CM on Thursday evening. I then plan to do the following.

1/ Report to CM Immigration on Friday morning with my wife to complete the TM30 formalities. I understand we need the house book and her Thai ID, is anything else required?

2/ Try to obtain a certificate of residence visa the same day. Do I do this at immigration too presumably and if so what is required? This will hopefully enable me to get my hands on the holy grail aka a Thai driving license ????

3/ I intend to go to Mae Sai border and will hopefully get another 90 days when I return by foot to Thailand the same day.

Grateful for any contributions, advice, clarifications etc.

Happy new year all ????

Looks like you done your home work. That makes a change, if only more people did the same. Well done and good luck.

1. That is correct. I assume you are living in a house you wife owns.

2. You will be applying for a certificate of residency not a visa that is needed to apply for a drivers license.

3. Not a problem to that. You can also apply for a 60 day extension of the 90 day entry to visit your wife.

1/ Yes in my wife's house. Should I take our marriage certificate?

2/ Sorry that's what I meant I erroneously added the visa on.

3/ Thanks, another option.

Thanks all
