Thanks. The rain is not expected to stop completely, and it is expected to continue raining on and off for at least another 10 to 14 days. So no surprise it started again. But indications are that it is already starting to shift from that low-pressure system predicted from the 23rd through the 27th (where there was continuous heavy rain and nearly 12 inches of rainfall over the 48 hours from the 24th to the 25th that caused the flooding) to the regular monsoon season on-and-off rain, with coverage down to about 30 or 40%. So tomorrow it is predicted to be lighter than it was today, and things should start to clear out and dry up in the area I am heading to, as well as all other areas, once the water stops accumulating at that scale and can slowly drain out. Some of those majorly flooded areas will take at least a few days, if not longer, because the canals are full, but all of that should start to slowly clear out once the amount of daily rain fall drops from such a high level back to normal monsoon levels. Hopefully things won't be as stacked against me when I arrive tomorrow as I had first thought.
