JayBird
Hello, I read the thread for the 5 year, but wanted to check for the 2 year. I presently have a 2 year license and wanted to renew it. I am not sure about the requirements. Do I need to get a certificate of residence from Jomtien for that? I have a 5 year visa in my passport, and recently did the 90 day report. KhunBENQ
You always need some proof of residence for renewing the license. Can't tell whether Pattaya DLT accepts other than certificate from immigration. As you ask about requirements in general: you also need the medical certificate for renewing from 2 year to 5 year. The medical certificate wasn't required to renew from 2 year to five year. At least not at Pattaya Transport.

As it is the smallest effort of all documents I would not try without as I did I was lucky that I caught the doctor before he left for the hospital and then rush back to DLT. Otherwise it would have been another attempt next day. No medical required for 5 yr to 5 yr.
