rowdyone
Hi all, My wife and I encountered a problem getting our marriage certificate translated into English, as the Amphur missed a number of my passport on the second page. We are outside Thailand at the moment, I work in Korea and she has a dependent spouse visa. We need to give the power of attorney to one of my wife's family so they can go to the Amphur and fix the mistake. Does anyone know what is required to give someone power of attorney from overseas? So far our attempts at contacting the Thai embassy in Korea have met with "we are too busy to take your call" or email silence. The embassy is a long journey I am loath to take without being certain to complete the power of attorney requirements. Thanks to any who can help, Rowdyone
Preacher
Contact the Thai Ministry of Foreign affairs, consular department. Better said, have your wife contact them. They normally have a good track record. www.consular.go.th
