Chainsaw
Are there designated Smart Bus stops in Rawai or can it be flagged down anywhere?
Coconut Kidd
Hi Chainsaw. Yes there are designated stops, but not set in stone. My experience with Smart Bus, they will pull over if you flag them down. I have seen this multiple times between Kamala and Patong. Good luck
hansgruber
Go to Rawai Pier. That's where it's starts it's route and finishes it.
Psimbo
There is an app somewhere on the web so you can track the buses. They are quite happily doing pickups and drop off on request these days. To the disappointment of some they are getting quite popular and over the past few weeks I have seen quite a few standing room only (no doubt some will even complain about that!) Coconut Kidd
You can buy a rabbit card on the bus and there are several locations around the island where you can purchase them or top up, although it seems you can't top up at the card purchase point or vice versa. The card is 300 Baht. 100 for the card which is good for a few years and comes topped up with 200 Baht. Read The “PAYMENT” section carefully. It's all on their website at https://phuketsmartbus.com/ You can track and get timetables at https://phuket.cloud/bus/
