Hi,

I just need a simple cheap satellite (not internet TV / Android box) to watch TV 5 Monde. Anyone with any pointers? 

I do not want to to subscribe to True or any other company. The free to watch TV 5 Monde and Al Jazeera will suffice.

I'm Bangkok based.

Anything cheap that works. Or rather anything that gets me TV5 Monde and Al Jazeera.

If you get a portable one with wheels then you can move it around the back garden at different times of the day and pick up different satellites.  I send the wife out to position it correctly.

I know you said you don't want to spend money on it but you may find that an android box can get way more content than a dish and it could be the same price or maybe even cheaper
