Android Phone.no SIM card message

Featured Replies

I just bought my first Android tablet.

It's an 8 inch Lenovo tb8405x,

every time i start it up i get a message saying

no sim card, please insert sim card

I have been trying to fix it up myself but am getting confused,.

There are a few reasons why it might happen

I don't want to use it as a phone i just want to get rid of the message.

Try inserting any old, no longer valid SIM you have lying around, then disable mobile data.

Then it might give the message "SIM not registered to network"

Try putting it into Airplane mode and then turn on wifi.
