Michelle Yeoh Officially Boards Star Trek: Discovery Spin-Off Series

Rumours began floating in the Star Trek telly universe back in November that one of the shows being considered to expand the galaxy around Star Trek: Discovery was a series following Michelle Yeoh's Philippa Georgiou.

The series is now in active development at CBS All Access in the States.

The concept originally hit news radars when a deleted scene showed Georgiou (the imperious, Mirror Universe version of Yeoh's character introduced later in Season 1) was shown being offered a job with Starfleet's shadowy intelligence agency Section 31.

She'll be seen working for the organisation in Season 2 of the show and now the spin-off will chronicle her further adventures.

Yes, there's something special about women who appear on a Star Trek series or movie for some reason, even as far back as 1967.  ????

Even as appalling as ST Enterprise was, the very notion that  I might get to see Sub Commander T'Pol in her underwear was enough to keep me hooked

Man, watch her in every episode of Elementary.  She is one hot female.

Oh don't even get me going on how hot she is in Elementary

My wife is convinced, probably correctly that I have a teenage boy crush on her
