What is the best way to get a 15 day extension my mate is coming to visit me in khon kaen but he will need an extension,go to immigration in khon kaen or do a border bounce to laos,

You don't mention how he is staying in Thailand now and where he is coming from to KK. 

Example if he is visa exempt or setv in bkk he could obtain 30 day extension 1900baht cw.

He came on the 30 day visa on the plane,he has been in phuket on holiday,but he wants to stay another 1-2 weeks before flying back.

He can apply for a 30 day extension of his 30 day visa exempt entry at immigration for a fee of 1900 baht.
