Why???  If a Doctor deems him medically fit to drive, why shouldn't he drive? Age shouldn't be the only deciding factor in determining ones ability to safety drive on public highways.... 

 

That said, age should be a factor in determining whether or not someone requires a regular medical and approval to continue driving on public highways.

From the age of 70, you are required to obtain a replacement licence,every 3 yrs. On the license application form you must confirm that you are still in good health. The problem occurs when some people,still think that their health is fine,when it is not.
