The first reviews for the forthcoming Ted Bundy drama Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile are in — and if there's one thing critics can agree on, it's that Zac Efron puts in a starring turn as the sociopathic serial killer and rapist.

The film, based on the non-fiction book written by Bundy’s ex-fiancée Elizabeth Kendall, dropped its first trailer earlier this week ahead of its premiere at the Sundance Film Festival on Saturday (January 26).

Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile also stars Lily Collins, Jim Parsons, Westworld star Angela Sarafyan, John Malkovich and Haley Joel Osment.

It also marks director Joe Berlinger's second Bundy feature following the recent release of his Bundy-inspired documentary series Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes.
