Ted Bundy's girlfriend Elizabeth Kloepfer – also known as Liz Kendall, but more on that later – was introduced in Netflix's latest true-crime smash hit, Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes.

 

But who is she, what really happened between her and Bundy and where is she now? 

 

In episode one of the four-part series we are told that Ted and Liz met in a bar, and it didn't take long for her to fall in love with him. Apparently she became his "main squeeze" and such was their relationship that they almost got married.

 

"I loved her so much, it was destabilising," Bundy explained, during one of the recorded interviews featured in the documentary.
