Moving from Chonburi to Roi Et

Featured Replies

I am moving from Chonburi (Jomtien) to Roi Et. Are there any documents and notifications I need to give to Immigration in Jomtien before I move?

I am living in Thailand on a retirement extension from a Multiple Entry Non Imm O Visa, and my next 90 days report is due 5th March. I know I have to make sure Immigration in Roi Et is notified (TM28 and TM30), but how quickly do I have to notify them?

My embassy still gives income affidavits, but is Roi Et Immigration likely to demand any additional income verification when my time to renew ccomes around in June?

No need to notify Jomtien immigration that you are moving. You only need to report your address to the new office.

The rules state you need to report within 24 hours of moving but they would not know when you actually arrived at your new residence.

I suggest you to do the change of address as soon as possible after you move to avoid any problems doing your 90 day reports.

I don't recall any report of Roi Et wanting backup proof for a income affidavit. But things could change by June.

OK. Thank you Ubonjoe.

Any office can demand "verification" but in rural areas it is most unlikely.
