beeyonder
Hi everyone, ???? Actually I stay in Thailand with Non-O visa based on marriage. Next month my visa will expire, I will want to go outside Thailand, at neightboring country and come back. March I will come back to my country - France - so I want to know if I can just go outside Thailand and come back and get a exemption visa for 30 days ? Or I need to make a new Non-O visa, even for less than 30 days ? If I can, can I from land ? Or only by airplane ? Thank you everyone, Take care. BritManToo
You can buy a 30 day extension from any Thai immigration office, 1900bht. Or a 60 day 'to visit your wife', same office, same price, more paperwork. Or do a land border run for a 30 day waiver on entry. Up to you! Yes. You shouldn’t have a problem doing that. If you don’t want to leave Thailand you could apply for (as long as you haven’t applied already since you last entered the country) a 60 day extension to visit your wife. No financials are required. DrJack54
Sounds like a border bounce for a 30 visa exempt would be option. If your considering that then stating where you are in Thailand would have members suggesting various flight/border options.

Definitely avoid the Poipet / Aranyaprathet entry-point. Any other land-border is safe. Air might be OK, since you had a Non-O before - but by-land is safer, per reports.
