border hop at ban prakkan (pailin)

Featured Replies

hi i recently saw a post regarding a same day border hop at poipet being refused, as i may use a similar thing in ban prakkan in the near future i was wondering the latest local situation there?

No problems reported for 2x land-border visa-exempts per-calendar-year anywhere except Poipet.

Poipet/Aranya is the worst entry-point in the country - do not use it unless you rarely visit Thailand (and like standing in long lines for hours).

The only other limitation is Malaysian entry-points, where you may need to stay out at least one night.

If staying more frequently for a longer-term, it is best to get Tourist Visas every time, and save the Visa-Exempts for cases where you don't get the Tourist Visa as planned.
