It may be the 'done thing' to laugh politely at a joke that has been cracked by royalty but for Dame Helen Mirren, she thought a wisecrack was so unfunny, she actually called out Prince Harry for his 'insulting remark'.

It came after the pair met following Dame Helen's portrayal of Queen Elizabeth on the big screen in The Queen.

Prince Harry has been known to make the odd cheeky remark but his comical quip to Dame Helen wasn't met with her creasing up with laughter.

Dame Helen revealed during an appearance on Good Morning Britain yesterday that when she met the royal at an awards ceremony, Prince Harry teased her by calling her "granny".

Maybe it was a compliment. Comparing her performance as his gran as being authentic.

Well, Prince Harry follows his grandfather's steps - right on the money!
