Bangkok Bank ATM card

Featured Replies

My BB ATM card is expiring next month. I have had it since 2008. I am not living in Thailand anymore, but visiting regularly (twice a month). Is there going to be a problem with not having address in Thailand? I probably do the change in BB in Silom. I need only ATM card

The couple of times I've changed my card all they've needed was old card, passbook and passport (and of course a form).

I don't recall the form needing an address but since they never write I'd just use the address you used when opening the account.

Not a problem if you just use it as an ATM card but the new cards are UnionPay (totally useless) unless you ask for their new MasterCard version (not free).

Just asking, not sure whether it's an issue:

since 2008 sounds like you might have a new passport (number) since then?

If so, did you register the new passport nr. with them?

The new Bangkok Bank Be 1st debit MasterCard sucks if you want to use it to purchase in some stores ! It’s not been accepted at some TOPs and Tescolotus stores .

Just to update this. All went okay. No questions asked. I did not take the debit card. ATM valid until 2024. Thanks for all replies
