The Oscars last went hostless in 1989. It ruined a man’s career

So, after much speculation, the host of the 2019 Oscars will be: no one.

 

Comedian Kevin Hart stepped down after it was pointed out that some of his stand-up (and Twitter) material was homophobic, and it seems no one else has wanted to take his place.

 

This is perhaps understandable – you get yelled at for being either too controversial or too boring (in both cases, often justifiably).

 

But how can a Hollywood awards show possibly work without a host?

PC gone mad, this is the result. Oscars aren't about movies anymore anyway, just another minority promotion event

ha. eventually everyone will be accused of some perceived SJW crime and there will be no one left to go on screen. not that it matters as Hollywood only produces junk now a days anyway.

Yep. It's now about getting all those wonderful PC correct messages across; reverse discrimination so the minorities feel privileged; lots of very wealthy 'luvvies" who live in well protected ivory towers lecturing the plebs and pretending to be angry about something and Will Smith's missus complaining that her talented husband, son and herself have yet again been overlooked!

I look on these outright mentally defective Hollywood hypocrites with utter derision and contempt now.

The Oscars have now become as boring and pointless as the NFL Super Bowl (what's that you say?) ????
