I am Canadian and my girlfriend is Filipino. We want to get a simple paper marriage in Bangkok. I know we can do it ourselves but I prefer to hire and agency to assist us. Want to avoid a law firm because of the costs.

 

Has anyone used one recently that they can recommend?

The problem you face is that an agency can only do a small portion of the work for you.

 

You will both have to make an appointment at your embassies and get an Affirmation of Freedom to Marry. An agent cannot do that for you.

 

Once you both have those documents you can then contact an agency.

 

All the agency will do is get the affirmations translated and legalised for you and walk with you into a District Office.
