Cold weather

I know that cold wear clothing isn't exactly high on the agenda for most Bangkokians, however I am hoping someone can help.

I am planning to travel to Japan at the weekend. I was wondering if there was a place specialist in outerwear somewhere in Bangkok where I could buy some gloves and perhaps a hat?

I have previously bought winter clothing for my daughter in the MBK shopping centre. If you look on the floor that has all the tourist stuff and clothes stalls.

The clothes I bought were good for a Scottish winter holiday and a trip to south Korea to see a k-pop band.

Thanks, checked their branch in CTW and alot of their stuff is sold out. ????

That shop is for Thai going to Japan....but they have loads of branches...everywhere.

Maybe the TANK shop in CTW has what you need...but that won't be cheap or low quality. Muji might also have it, don't know.

There's a shop in the mall connecting to Ramkhamhaeng ARL station that rents winter clothing.  It's a weird little shop in a weird location but I pass it every day and it is stocked full of winter jackets, hats, gloves etc.  No idea what their prices are like but may be worth checking out.

I can confirm next time I get on or off the train there, but I think it's called "rent a coat shop".

As yes, found it:  http://www.rentacoatshop.com/
