I'm travelling to Bangkok in a couple of days and am looking for suggestions for a good way to convert and carry canadian funds for my trip. The most efficient way suggested to me is to "overload" my credit card and then simply make withdrawals from an ATM.  The downside is that I would still be billed a flate rate $7.50 each time plus a 2.5% of the amount.

Has anybody got better ideas? My thanks for all contributions.
