I have already got an SETV + 30 days extension, Iam planning to go Vietnam for a couple days and come back.  What are the chances of me getting a SETV in saigon and then later getting a 30 day extension in bkk

Getting a second SETV shouldn’t be a problem. And once in the country there is no reason why immigration would deny an extension of stay if you qualify.
