He went from being a larger-than-life pop cultural icon to a man plagued by scandals, so you can imagine that the life of one Terry Gene Bollea – AKA Hulk Hogan – might be a good fit for a biopic.

 

Todd Phillips clearly thinks so, as he has Chris Hemsworth in line to star as the wrestler.

 

Amongst the biggest names to enter the wrestling ring, Hogan got his start in Florida's 1970s wrestling circuit.

 

From there, he graduated to the World Wrestling Federation, becoming a household name when Vince McMahon expanded the company's appeal.

Hemsworth is pretty good size already, but to play Hulk Hogan, he's definitely going to have to bulk up something serious.
