I'm looking for a list of required documents, forms, and paperwork needed to process a Extension of Stay based on Retirement in 2019.

 

Please keep this thread limited to listing required documentation for the retirement extension and not the new procedures.  There are pages of comments regarding the new laws.  No need to add more comments here.  Just a list of documents needed to process the extension this week.

Basic is the financial proof needed. Money in the bank or income option?

A completed TM7 form with copies of passport photo page, visa, entry stamp, extension of stay stamp and TM6 departure card. Some office may want more copies.

Proof residence.

Knowing which office would help.

Depends on the office, but regarding Bangkok here's a useful report I used as a guideline for my own extension a few months ago:

Lamphun which is essentially still in the Chiang Mai immigration district I believe.

 

800K in a Thai bank untouched for over three months.  I'll get the bank letter the day I go to immigration.

And your bank book updated at the same time so you can make copies of it.
