I'm not even sure that a regular key shop can even make keys without the original to work from. That also will probably depend on how complex the key type is. Bill3173 Posted February 24, 2019 Share Posted February 24, 2019 Not sure about here in Thailand, but in my home country you can go to the dealer with the vehicle VIN number (Vehicle Identification Number) and proof of ownership, and have a new key (or Fob) issued.
