"Depressed" husband disappears after wife found buried in sand beside the house in Bangkok

Bangkok police are looking for a 36 year old man after his wife - a mother of four - was found buried in a pile of sand by their luxury house.

The younger sister of  Issada, 35, had reported her missing on February 17th.

The Thung Khru police interviewed the husband Nop, 36, at the time but found nothing suspicious about his wife's disappearance.

But on Sunday they planned to re-interview the husband at the family home and when they arrived he had disappeared.

In a pile of sand on the left side of house number 8/101 in the house in Soi Pracha Uthit 86 they found the body of the wife.

She had been dead at least a week. She was clothed without shoes and face down buried about one meter under the sand.

She had what appeared to be a gunshot wound to the back of the head and a stab wound in the back.

Forensics were all over the scene and police tape stopped entry to the site.

Both the husband and wife suffered from depression and were being treated. They married in 2007 and had four children. They split up in 2016 and were in the process of getting back together again but there were many arguments.

The children had been looked after a grandparent since Chinese New Year in early February.

When police arrived at the house a grandparent was there.

Security at the estate reported two deliveries of sand on February 4th.

The younger sister of the victim became suspicious after their daily Facebook chat abruptly ended, said the police.

The cops think Issada had been dead for ten days.

Investigations continue.

She was depressed, clearly committed suicide by shooting herself in the back of the head, open and shut case.

Seems like good police work even though this does not appear to be a difficult crime to solve.

RIP lady, I feel sorry for the children

He wasn't taking any chances, was he? Shot, stabbed and buried in sand. Of course, it could be suicide.

Worse case of suicide they have ever seen. ????

I swear while reading this I could hear "Benny Hill theme music"

There is nothing for the police to go on, he has taken the shovel with him. He will no doubt be found later hanging from a tree or splashed on the road.

The cops are thinking...

It's suicide until proven otherwise.

2 hilarious comments here suggest suicide.

I find it incredible that anyone can make a joke out of such a horrible story.

Shame on you.
