Badminton player regrets going up on the roof to get his shuttlecock

A 16 year old youth playing a Sunday game of badminton is likely to regret his decision to go on the roof of his house to retrieve his shuttlecock. 

 

While up on the roof Thanaporn Suracha slipped and fell impaling himself in the left foot on a fence. 

 

Sawang Boriboon medics cut him free and used cloth to stop the spike slipping before taking him to Bang Lamung Hospital. 

 

The accident happened at house number 23/31 Moo 9.
