health check for work permit renewal

Featured Replies

Hi, there appears to be a situation at the nakhon ratchasima labour office where they are denying the normal medical checks you get done at a local clinic for a work permit or renewal.

Apparently they are now asking that you go to a hospital and pay much more money for some full workover.

However its not the case with everyone, my girlfriend and her colleagues in a nearby anuban school are still using the clinic option.

Can someone confirm the official situation regarding this?

Is it a random member of staff in the labour office or actual policy ... thanks for your help in advance if anyone knows

Working on contracts, some long some short in different areas some accepted a doctors report ( clinic ) some required a report from a hospital of their choice.

I always did it as they wanted as the companies paid anyway.

I don't think there is an official rule, but, willing to be proved wrong.

Are you sure that is what they want.

Some offices want a blood test for Syphilis done that cannot always be done at a clinic.

Did you have a blood test done before?
