Kay McDonnell
I would like to hold a regular flea market on a piece of land. Can anyone advise the rules regarding this? Can non Thai have a second hand stall to sell unwanted personal items?

madmitch
I seem to remember the Green Man holding a car boot sale many years ago. I have no idea how successful it was but as it only occurred once perhaps it wasn't! But, as the learned forum members have stated, protected jobs and work permit issues come into play and whereas the police could turn a blind eye if it were on private land it certainly couldn't be relied upon. Old Croc
Key words -regular, market. Sounds like a shop, even though you later state it's just to sell unwanted personal items. Thaivisa has a classified section where people can sell these items.
