lelapin
I moved recently to a house registered in my girlfriends name. Do I need to change the address on my car registration book and if so how do I do it.
watcharacters
The address on my license is not what I gave the Driver license office with my certificate of residency. They bungled that up. Not me.
jackdd
A law which says you have to change it within 15 days exists, but this law is not enforced, so effectively you don't have to change it.

If it were me I'd change it if I was sure about staying there. You can change address in reg book at your nearest DLT office.

Yes but..do they require a "certificate of residence" from immigration or Embassy..maybe a yellow (foreigner) house book would satisfy them ? I would just leave it alone..but have your mail forwarded to your new address in case they send fines or notices through the post.

They seem to have laws covering every possible situation here, but hardly ever enforce them. No wonder the Thais treat them with contempt.

fleur3
I expect will be a difference between changing adress within same province or changing adress in another province. I expect that if you move to another province a change of adress AND a change of numberplates for the car are expected.
