30/60 days extension on a Single Entry NON O

Featured Replies

Hi. Soon my 90 days NON O Single Entry (based on kids, visa from Vientiana) will expire.

My plan/wish is to extend my current SE non o for another 60 days at the emigration in Chiang Mai.

Questions:

1 Do my kids need to go with me, and/or do i need to bring kids birth certificate or other papers I used to get the Visa Issued) or just the passport

2 I think they need some kind of receipt/slip of my address is reported (notification of stay???), I don't have that, because my landlord did electronically (they have web access to some system). Would this be an issue at Emigration?

(i could ask my landlord, for a print from system maybe? but if they don't understand what I need/why I need it, in my experience, it's a bit uphill)

Or do I overthink everything and its enough to just go there with a passport, picture and fill out the form and ask for 60days

Thanks in advance.

There is no 30-day extension. You can get the 60-day extension, but your kids must be with you. Whether a TM30 notification must have been done will depend on the immigration office used, but it is needed more often than not.

ok thanks.. a lot of trouble and stressfull with all that paper work and kids out of school and everything.

properly easier for me to do a border run and get a 30 day exempt in Mae Sai (planned to go to Chiang rai anyway).. will make a separate post about the crossing in Mae Sai.
