In second road jomtien the have also start to making something on a very big land, it not look like condo. Someone now what the are making, it could look like new shopping area. KittenKong Posted March 10, 2019 Share Posted March 10, 2019 For the last few weeks they have been intensively clearing the very large plot near the corner of Soi 5 and the various View Talay Residences. It was once intended to be the site of Ocean 1 Tower https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ocean_1_Tower but apart from the cost of the land it would seem to be a pretty good place for either a hospital or a supermarket/mall, or even both. I remember reading that Rhompo was actually owned by a company that owns/builds/runs hospitals so it would be fitting for that area to become a hospital as it seems to be in need of treatment as a bar area. I dont know how youve come to the conclusion that it doesnt look like a Condominium development, infact it doesnt realy look like anything much @ the moment - Fact: This area will be developed into the Copacabana Golf" Condominium which will be constructed after the "Copacabana Beach" Condominium a little further down Soi Song on the other side of the road towards Jomtien Beach road.
