MrScratch Posted March 10, 2019 Share Posted March 10, 2019 I would like to buy an Apple Mac computer , I am thinking about an Apple Mac Mini from the official online Apple store ( Singapore ) . This Mac Mini will only really be used for general web surfing , email and may be some simple photo manipulation . A couple of questions Am I correct in thinking that if I want to take out the extended Apple Care warranty cover , I can leave buying it until later , say 11 months after the original purchase date ? Any advice about using the educational discount option. Any advice about the best way / option to pay for the Mac Mini . As this will be my first Mac Mini , any general advice or suggestions . recom273 Posted March 15, 2019 Share Posted March 15, 2019 Are one of the new mini’s such a great deal these days? I looked at one myself when they came out, 28,000-39,000 for the basic spec. They used to be cheap enough as a second machine to attach to your TV.Why a mini? If you just need it for whatever you say, Why not a MacBook Air?
