Update 17th March, from the online booking Vientiane, Royal Thai Embassy. www.thaivisavientiane.com . They realized that someone (not us agencies) placed many fake booking in system. Currently they improve or update the system. Not sure which direction they will take, however nowadays people that book or have booked can not cancel or change the original schedule. Process remain the same, you must register with your real email and personal information. Than you get an email with the log in info. Book your date and wait till you get the confirmation. This confirmation is important as you need it at the gate of the Embassy. Same day booking not possible, at midnight they cut off. They also put a disclaimer there. We just checked now and dates available for booking are. 18th, no slot. 19th no slot. 20th no slot. 21st no slot. Even Friday 22nd no slot. 25th no slot. 26th no slot. 27th no slot. 28th no slot. Friday 29th available 20 slots. April: 1st no slot. 2nd no slots. 3rd no slot. 4th no slot. Friday 5th still available 182 slots. Monday 8th, the first problem as booking site show Holiday, but Embassy Calendar show no holiday. After 8th April no schedule yet, they will open around 3-4 weeks beforehand. We will try to update daily.

Embassy in Vientiane is aware that " [email protected]" has problem. We received information, that in case you want to cancel your appointment, please send request to  [email protected] explaining the reason you want to cancel your appointment.

Goodbye thailand, hello vietnam????

Only problem with that is Vietnam isnt as developed as Thailand. Especially for medical. I tried Vietnam a few months this year. Absolutely terrible compared to my

place in Bangkok. Ive heard some people say they like Vietnam, but my experience is it is just not the same at all. And not in a good way.

Both websites return as failed delivery notice. Anyone has the same problem?

within 1 hour 100 slots are booked up for the 9th April, I assume they are still flooded with fake bookings. I have send a request to the Facebook side of Royal Thai Embassy and will also ask [email protected] to check.

I just secured an appointment for April 10th--as of 5 a.m. today, there were "140" slots available for 9 am.
