Training Dog

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

My kids have been asking me to get them a dog for our new house. I am an animal lover and would also love a dog but am worried some SOB might poison it and break my kids heart. Is there any way to train a dog not to eat food thrown over the fence like poisoned chicken leg or sausage?

Thanks

stuff it with black pepprer or chilli powder - get a book about dog training.

I used as well low voltage electricity to shock - use different methods and substances for the dog to learn faster

advanced training for most dogs: learning to eat only on command. actually means training your whole family to maintain the training in the dog. macb probably could help u here, i've not managed to do this one succesfully mostly because i found it the most time consuming and difficult training to be enforced. (have to prevent other people from slipping the dog food etc.)

the best way to prevent poisoning is to prevent your dogs frm running loose, or hassling the wrong people so they would want to poison your dog. get a small toy type dog that can be mostly in the house.
