Oziex1
Treat the source of the pollution not the pollution itself. In other words, take measures to prevent the contamination to begin with.
zaZa9
A representative of the Kamala Or Bor Tor office immediately announced that one of the sources could not be the Sunwing/Sunprime Hotel , that borders the klong , and is very large , and has two very large pipes feeding into the klong about 300 metres from the above pic. He didnt say why. Later the same office claimed they had found 3 guesthouses further up the klong not complying with local law governing waste water. Hello , we are to believe that only 3 guesthouses are making this black mess? Kamala has NO SEWERAGE SYSTEM. Thousands more tourists and residents are being encouraged to move there by overzealous builders and agents and an uncaring and complicite local government . Not one resort talks about making a minimal footprint or building their own treatment plant. Its basically a 'free-for-all' wherein all those pesky costs usually carried by developers before they make a fortune are minimised or ignored . The result is land degradation , filthy klongs and dirty sea , dead reefs , parking issues and dust. And its not going to get any better .
Richard Kuklinski
Instead of doubling up, perhaps they should quadruple up.

Same getting the public to do the police’s work
