Jin Wellbeing County, which describes itself as Thailand’s first residential district built for post-retirement life on 140 rai on Phahonyothin Road, has revealed tips for a healthy diet that will inject life into ageing bodies and make them ‘Glow As Jin.’

Together with simple activities that improve physical well-being for all ages, the county says it seeks to create a healthy balance between body, soul and spirit – a balance that serves as the heart of a long life well lived – and lead Thai senior citizens into the era of the ageing society with grace and joy. The county’s dedication to creating a “wellness district” goes beyond the ambition of any property development or wellness centre, and its integrative healthcare offerings extend beyond medical care to deliver tailor-made care that covers every aspect of living.

The residential facilities are designed to encourage active ageing living with universal convenience for everyone in the family and easy access to a full complement of lifestyle and wellness services. These features and more make Jin Wellbeing County a major wellness-oriented, mixed-use development.

Dr Kobkan Junhasavasdikul, chief medical officer of Jin Wellbeing County, said: “Senior citizens and those living the post-retirement life often see themselves as ageing people who lack the capacity to do what they used to be able to do. They may feel like a burden for the younger generations and grow concerned about their own ability to adapt. They may become desperate and depressed, leaving them vulnerable to all kinds of illnesses. Some of their physical ailments may, in fact, stem from a sickness of the mind.

“This requires a truly holistic treatment that does not only focus on the physical cause. Our ‘Glow as Jin’ concept is based on the fact that a balanced body, soul, and spirit will lead to sustainable healthy living. With every patient, our treatment begins with a conversation and some physical tests to determine their current condition.

“We then design diets, exercise routines, and various recreational activities that are tailor-made to match each person. Furthermore, we provide assistance in fortifying the mind against the concerns of ageing life, giving them the morale and sense of pride in living as well as full awareness of themselves.

Through this, they will be able to take care of themselves appropriately and prevent such illnesses from recurring.”

In exchange for oodles of cash.

I think most Thais have been run down by the age of 40 and think retirement is irrelevant ????

Just for a moment my tired old eyes read the name as Gin Wellbeing County and was on the verge of putting my name down. . .
