March 23, 20197 yr OK, just been to Baan Saan (Zaan) and saw Parrot fish (live ones) for sale openly - am I correct in thinking that they are illegal to sell as food ? If so who ya gonna call?
March 23, 20197 yr Perhaps take a pic if you are still in the area. send the pic to bangkok post and they may be happy with getting the scoop. Big photo op for some police chief etc.
March 24, 20197 yr I haven't been to the fresh markets in a few years, but when I did go I would see a lot of parrot fish for sale (dead) for consumption along with snappers, groupers etc.

He has ceased to be! 'E's expired and gone to meet 'is maker! 'E's a stiff! Bereft of life, 'e rests in peace! If you hadn't nailed 'im to the perch 'e'd be pushing up the daisies! 'Is metabolic processes are now 'istory! 'E's off the twig! 'E's kicked the bucket, 'e's shuffled off 'is mortal coil, run down the curtain and joined the bleedin' choir invisible!! THIS IS AN EX-PARROTFISH!! Sorry, coudn't resist!
