BANGKOK, 23 March 2019, (NNT) – The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) has inspected the readiness of all constituencies of the capital city.

BMA Permanent Secretary Silapasuay Raweesaengsoon inspected constituencies in Sai Mai district, Don Mueang district, Bang Sue district and Rat Burana district.

All district offices have checked ballot boxes and election materials to get prepared for Sunday’s election of the House of Representatives (MPs).

Related officials have been instructed to get prepared to deal with emergencies such as power outages and service points for eligible voters.

Why wasn't such inspection a matter for the EC?

Especially considering that Prayut appointed the Governor under Article 44.
