Geoffggi
How about limiting the waste of water during Songkran - Throwing of water only permitted from 12:00 to 18:00hrs, after all six hours of throwing water should be enough for anyone..!! How about no water throwing at all. It is quite irresponsible to waste water when there is a shortage. There could be health risks if the worst comes to the worst.

CGW
Surely! after numerous requests to farmers to "not" do something they must realise that they will not listen? & ???? to all the "ban" Songkran brigade it aint going to happen - dream on, how many years has it been "celebrated, Thai's love it, little enough joy in most of their lives as it is, - its a drop in the ocean quite who "they" expect to enforce a ban has always been beyond me - Surely! "they" realise by now there is no functioning Police here ????
