kidneyw
I came into Thailand two months ago on a multple entry non immigrant visa. Was living in rented accomodation in Pattaya. Now I have moved to Bangkok and am staying in my daughter's rented accomodation. I have not approached reception, so they are unaware of my existence. I have never filled in a TM30 this trip. Only the arrival card at Suvarnibhumi airport. Will be doing a visa run to Cambodia next month. Can I wait till then, then just give my new address details then? Or should I inform the reception of my existence?
ubonjoe
Unless you plan on doing something at immigration there is no need for you to do a report. I might be good though to inform reception you are staying there so they could report your presence if they do it.
kidneyw
Ubonjoe, my thinking was, "out of site, out of mind." I guess I could get my daughter to have a chat with reception first, just as a feeler. Thanks.
elviajero
It’s not your responsibility to make any kind of report. Unless your planning to apply for an extension of stay there’s no need for you to make sure the person responsible to report your stay has done so; because immigration might insist it’s done before an extension is granted, Edited March 28, 2019 by elviajero
