TM30 for Tourist visa extension.

Featured Replies

On Friday I went to CW to extend my tourist visa, which I done numerous times without hassles.

This time I was told I needed a completed TM 30 to get an extension.

For a number of reasons I am unable to comply with this. Now I need to do a border crossing for

a ! month visa before getting another TV in Laos.

This ruling is now questioning my need to remain in Thailand after many years of living here with my son.

As an aside is still possible to do an in-out at Kachanaburi?

You could check into a hotel that does the report and use that address for the application. Probably less costly than doing a border run for a new entry.

You do a border hop at the Ban Phu Nam Ron crossing in Kanchanaburi for a new entry.

Edit: Is your son Thai?

Thanks for that Info.

Yes my son is Thai, but he is not my biological child, just a boy I have taken care of for 18 years.

Further to my previous post does anybody have any experience with Nonthaburi Immigration office?

Just did my Tourist Visa extension at Nonthaburi.

Everything went fine with helpful IMO,s. But it was s   l   o   w.

By the look of the IMO,s they feed them well here.

Long term you need to find an alternative to TV's and extensions.

I'm amazed you've been able to stay so long using those methods without being refused entry.
