Renew retirement extension but no TM30

Featured Replies

I will be going down soon to renew my retirement extension. I have never when gotten a TM30 when coming back into Thailand. Will they require this ? If so what will happen if i do not have it?

If jomtien, usually they usher you into room 10 with a ticket number, and they will fine you or landlord, max 2000 baht i hear

Maybe. Depends on the office you apply at.

They could deny the extension and or fine someone (maybe you) up to 2,000 baht.

Just a thought I'm off to Bangkok on Friday checking into a hotel I'm sure they will report me when I get back on Saturday if I go directly to immigration to do the TM 30 would that suffice? I own my condo.

No. In Jomtien you don't need TM30 to renew Retirement Extension if you did not change address.

Confirmed again yesterday in this ThaiVisa article :
