No charges yet in death of toddler found in On Nut apartment

Klong Tan police in Bangkok said they are still investigating the mysterious death of a young child in an apartment in On Nut Soi 17.

 

The child was found dressed in adult clothes and there were no child's clothes in the apartment at all. 

 

The mother Khanitha Wongcharoen, 27, left the one to two year old there after she claimed the toddler choked on milk.

She went to stay with relatives in Samut Prakarn. 

 

Police have been unable to ascertain if she is in fact the mother of the child as she is giving conflicting stories. 

 

The owner of the apartment block Jutharat Suwwanich said that Khanitha paid rent by bank transfer and had lived there for three years. There had been no contact recently. 

 

He said she worked at night and often came home in the early hours of the morning. 

 

Police said that no one in the building even knew that she was pregnant.

 

Investigations continue.

Perhaps it's an indication of what I see in your comments?  This is a forum, you know, if you make comments full of unwarranted speculation don't be surprised if you get responses.

Everyone has thoughts but not everyone thinks it rational to post comments that are bizarrely speculative with no evidence that the speculation has any grounds at all. 

 

The landlord stated that the woman paid her rent by bank transfer, there is no reason for him to have ever seen her.  I have lived in my condo for 10 years now and I have never once seen the owner.
