Popular Post Radar501
Mate drove his new HSV Clubsport to Adelaide for the very first ever Crows home game in 1991. The perfect storm was brewing. The car had Vic number plates A Carlton sticker took pride of place on the back window The car was parked directly outside Football Park Blues spanked Crows by four goals. His beautiful car was not in the same condition when he returned after the game. 'Expensive lesson learnt' was his philosophical response. Wouldn't expect that sort of antisocial behaviour from Port Power fans, would we Mr Sceadugenga?? 1

Cristiano Ronaldo Audi R8, nice car I was considering the cheap version secondhand of course, coupe TT or the series 1 BMW coupe....but wanted a 6 cylinder not the 3lt monster or a 4, second hand of course, easy to get black and I hate black cars and guess what I ended up with, gees I don't know what possessed me, keep thinking to change my VW now 2 ys old......no dear its my last car ever....6.7 sec to the supermarket, just as quick as the Audi and series 1, less pomp it also means if I was to date again here women would put there hands in there pocket....interesting car before my Cooper (last TGF liked driving it though I had to change the 6 gears for her) was a 4 year old series 3 BMW coupe, a step up from the ute...though it was a XR, was getting trashed on the building sites so bought a van for work and the BMW to go out with, well it looked immaculate as they do, sliver shinning in the sun, classy evermore being a coupe and lowered to a respectable level nice wide original rims...hot looking machine cost me 38,000 more or less around the same price as a new XFR6 falcon sedan @ the time but nobody but me knew that, the very first thing I noticed was....I got more dates and they stoped putting there hands in there pockets, funny that isn't it? kept it 9 ys spent next to nothing on it....German cars are the go....except the Minis.....forget them... Kirk Cousins, no relationship to that Eagle, Viking QB, whoo had been a hot Redskin QB on coming out of his rookie contract which by the way is still worth like millions was looking for a 30 million dollar plus a year deal, the Skins bulked and off he went, Jay Gruden now an ex head coach was at the time criticised for letting him go, history shows he hasn't set the world on fire up in Minnesota, failed to make the play off last season and not looking that good this year either...Jay saved Washington a bag of money didn't save him his job though...Kirk is a modest type up there in Minnesota, we have images of snow capped mountains and no people for miles around....drives a van.....a big one, GMC savana, its got mags and no doubt a mattress in the back, hey he could afford a motel.... Aussie footballer and former Socceroo captain Miles Jedinak drives a Merc C63 AMG, 6.2 V8 like where could you drive that in England? Timmy Cahill.......Lamborghini Gallardo, just like the Ferraris I see in Lygon st Carlton they sound like lawn mowers, why would you shell out mucho dollardo's for a victa?, me I just dont get into the supercar look...well that Aston Martin Tom Brady is flogging I could go for, I'm pretty easy going in the 4 wheel stakes...a series 4 BMW M3 coupe would be just fine for me....around 160,000AU$ if I were a rich man....fully loaded of course, with red leather to set of the new TGF's skin colour. Car brands that sponsor an AFL club.... Jaguar, Dee's, well of course blue bloods and snow trips in winter few actually know Ford now owns the brand so thats a bumper, not as expensive as once and when you see one flash past you you do have to look twice to see if its a falcon.... Jeep, Tigers, ho yes one of there monster SUV's is mover looks dam hot too, the rest of the range is like....pooooooo....once considered a jeep....need to own a petrol station though a work buddy tells me its good on juice, im not so sure.... Holden, Pies, well this might be dated, forget them, <deleted> cars, owned a few when I was a poor chippie, have nice looking designs I must say what's under the bonnet is a turn off.... Hyundai, Blues and Lions, well they have come a long way, I dont mind though I wouldn't own, an ex Chinese nurse GF had the excel, 4 years from new, could make love in it no problems, though she was tiny as you would expect, I drove it a lot since she lived further out than me and parked in front of my twin cab 4wd Toyota at the time so you know her car was easier to park downtown were we always use to go...good little bomb lacked refinement, she did move on to a Mazda 3 which was pretty good I do say... Kia, GWS, well the next doors neighbours gf and later wife owns a hatch, what a piece of poo, this is early 2000, I got to drive it for some reason, my truck was 20 times better no I didnt like it at all, no power steering and this little creature needed it....im sure there better now still you won't get me in one... Mercedes-Benz, WB, my how times have changed, Footscray once a slum and thats only 20 ys ago, some spots still look like a slum to me, easily the worst ground in the league when they played there, never forget Grinter getting crucified like JC on the cross for Wallace ducking a tackle the little <deleted>...happened right in front of me on the wing 10 meters at best away.....had 20/20 vision in those days..... Nissan, Hawks, they have some good muscle cars I like, skyline is one, Z is another.... Renault, Port,....reminds me when when I was an apprentice and I wanted to earn a few extra dollars so got a part time job cleaning the offices at the Renault plant in West Heidelberg, them froggies liked to smoke, one in particular had an ash try the size off a 18 inch rim, full every day about a quarter of the top brass where French, only ever got to see the smoker a diligent type who would be leaving at 6 pm as we arrived, didnt look French at all and im sure he died of cancer before 60...I wasn't cut out to be a cleaner and there cars? ahh you say, they got a sporty hatch thats about it... VW, Sydney, better made than Renault I bet, brother a panel beater thumbs up in quality build a pretent BMW and Merc, will do me, I just need a car to go to the supermarket now.... Popular Post farmerjo
It was all about tactics, growing up in the bush. Popular Post Radar501
555 Off-season and the footy forum gets side tracked by motor heads. My high water mark was a new-build VT 5.0 L SS Commodore. Had to clean up the pearl jam stains off the back seat a few times let me tell you. When I was living in Trang about ten years ago, I would see a mint-condition HQ Kingswood around town, and the Highway Cops had a VN Commodore. There was also a Camira wagon which was rusting away to nothing. I dragged these pics of a BKK registered HQ Monaro GTS from the internet. I hope the owner understands just how rare and valuable his car is.

Popular Post AlexRRR
My love affair went parallel with a cute petite Italian teacher and my 69 Mini Cooper S, the wife was a love affair in heaven for most of 20 ys, the car...had it for 10 years was a love hate relationship....if your in a good mood you could change the radiator in like n hour if your not its going to take all weekend.... i restored it once, the mrs did drive it sometimes, that Red everything V8 SLE wasnt the most reliable set of wheels and the last holden i ever owned...mind you just 3 ys old....she was stoped in the street a few times parking it and some guys whould chat to her about it, she says she would say its my husbands love affair...i guess that stoped the come ons the pretty thing was getting... When i bought mine so inpressed were a few mates that before too long 4 of us owned an S mine was British racing green, a mate's was white another blue forget the 3rd as he didn hang that much with us....three off us took it too the hills of Marysvill and Lake Eldion up in the ranges, long winding roads one sunday, just like The Italian Job, ive seen the original and the remake....the remake had only one S by the way, didnt fool me one bit, clocking the ton easy in the hills eyes watching us as we zoomed past, 3 series BMW got on our tails and wanted to join the fun, Ha ha...poor <deleted> didnt have the herbs to get past 3 1.2 S's in our dust for miles and miles...gave up eventualy....This is early 80's the Cooper S did hammer suprised a few peoiplke just how quck the bucket was...of course i had a balanced donk slightly oversided pistons and mild head work with a couple of big throaters splashing fuel down, the car wasnt welll insulated i mean they were poor mans cars originaly in England, them strombuergs made gurrrrgling sounds so loud was like your eare was right next to them.... The Ex did look cute in it when she took it, i got her to follow the Dee's too, she grew up a stone throw from Princess Park and i converted her from the Blues, thats what love will do to you, poor thing, Blues they won a lot of premierships in them days....she came to a few games but once winter set in that was it....the fail size 8 decided to retire from going to the footy so it was just me and the S....
Popular Post AlexRRR
Well the car i said would be my last is now my second last, traded it in today, i really dont know why i bought it, took me a year to get use to it, it was a VW Polo GTI 1.8, defianlty hammers and only .2 seconds slower than the Golf GTI though the Golf feels a lot quicker, it throws you back in the seat...yes you guessed it i traded it for Golf GTI, orginaly was coming out of a Lemon Cooper S so when i went to the show room the Golf looked just tooooo big so i passed to the Polo... Well if i had of known the fuel range in the little bucket was barley 500k that alone would have been a deal breaker, the mini was 650 to 1/4 tank plus...and a big irk from me...no keyless start...plus no god dam light over your key slot, come on guys my 06 one tonner has a light over the key slot....bloody come on VW, its a god dam GTI, then to add frustration to injury one long trip to Thai i disconected the battery which is in the boot like the BMW's at least my old one was, well what a shock when i get home and i cant open the frigging rear hatch, looked through the book of cartoons....have to say there manual is rather poorly set out so i phoned the service dept to ask how to get in...sir there is a little slot in the centre near the floor inside the boot space you lay the backseats down and crawl though your car with a frigging screwdriver and stick it in the frigging slot and push it around to open the frigging door....Thats how its done.,...god dam amazing...,37,000 and they don thave a frigging inside latch...Well the Polo i bought new, im retired now and living on bikkies so had to settle for a 1 year old Golf, metallic cobalt i think the color is, actualy prefer white sliver or the dark grey but beggars cant be choosy 32,000 ks on the clock my Polo has under 15,000 in 2 ys....im a hermit you see... The Golf GTI feels awssssssuuuuuuum, feels quicker heavier and soooooo comfortable, love the footrest next to the accelerator ( i live out so a lot of freeways for me and i do use cruise control as often as i can) plus like most cars one for the leftie, i checked, battery under the hood...prasie be to Allah, keyless start/push button, dont know if its keyless entry yet and a nice touch push button hand brake....lovely, VW have one <deleted>ty habit and that they put in there cars and thats when u brake your engine cuts out crumy idea though one of my female friends whos a big greenie loves it, i dont, im pretty light on the brakes so most of the time engine keeps running,, (my mechanic has complained to me that i havent changed brake pads on my ute since i got it in 2012....) Well the Golf does cut when i stop so i got to get use to it but Allah has proviced a button to turn that feature off....the catch is it automatically reverts to cutting out once you switch this turbo job engine off...Anyway i know im going to love driving this car.........

Key less start means country bumcking, the key stays in your pocket, when you jump in in said mobile the key is doing an alien transmitting thingo like your phone, you know where all going to get brain cancer with all these things anyway the modern starship picks up the transmission and allows the car to start when you push a button....i didnt realize how much i would miss that feature..;;... did you know that the old Jags had push button starts? catch was you had to stick the key into the dash and turn it to on then press the chrome metal button near by...Anyway Fj keyless start would have been to your benift in your <deleted> pot days before TW tamed you....even blind in both eyes from the grog all you had to do was run your hand over the dash untill you found it then presto your on your way... We have come along way from Buffalo pulling the cart and the crank handle in front of the engine Fj, ive seen some of the antiques in Thailand....they call cars, one ex TGF's old man had a Ford Cortina in baby silver blue, around early 60's vintage it was his take the mrs to the supermarket or market transport the rest of the time he had a Vesper copy....Ho and i did want to buy a real vesper 60's job i stumbled across in a night market back in 2012, no push button start on that dear Fj...it was a jump crack with the good old right leg, only wanted 65,000 B at the time....31B to the $ then.....peanuts for a real Itailan Vesper....
Popular Post AlexRRR
Stars and there cars part 2, seems the brethren here relate to 4 wheels as much as there footy team, we can dream about the fancy cars the A Listers can afford with our hard earned $$$ we shell out to go see them or buy there music......Id like to know cause I know I wouldn't if I had the fortune to have a garage full of Aston matins, yes my car of choice if an A lister, id be looking up Tom Brady and ordering a dark silver job with deep red leather interior...I for one wouldn't be driving it on the streets, well only to your house if I can park it in ur drive way, its not staying on the street or in Crown car park....no way Jose....my brother, younger than me when 20 bought a 68 Falcon GT wasn't vintage by a stretch then and it was his go to work car for the first few years, he bought it after pop gave him his 66 falcon pick up...ute to us Aussies, dad bought it new and I use to use it weekends until I could afford a car of my own, brother being a panel beater quickly put on a set of 12 slotters cut the rear wheel arches after I suggested it would look better put in a smart cassette player with booming speakers, Recall them? we even moved on from CD players in cars Fj....the humble iPhone now is everything, camera iPod and for heaven safe you can use it like a phone too apart from being a mini computer....called Apple Car Play, Android too .....ho google maps as well...the new Golf has satellite navigation but I doubt I will be using it...the phone is king for that too....and through Apple car play Fj it comes up on the dash on your screen....wow modern star fleet tech....anyway young brother use to park his ute in the drive way like I use too, we had a double drive way enough seriously to park 10 cars easy, lived on the corner and high;y visible, so you know where this is going...id married my Italian sweet heart by this stage and moved closer to the MCG, 23 min from home to sit down at the G in the Cooper S...I had also got young bro interested in Minis there for a while too...though he being a cheap Charlie bought a mini van, that was after the ute and before the GT. The ute disappeared one evening never to have a trace of it found again, like it was in patches duco wise, I say it was karma and I did warn little bro about this, he had a light fingered friend, who well use to steel things and some how half of it would end up in dads garage, stumbled across a guitar amp and a few things and when asking a smile came on his face, bro wasn't selling it he just was storing it, young men silly they can be, well he learned his lesson and the mate did end up in jail and the hand of fate took his ute never to be seen again..... Anyway so paranoid was my brother by the time he got the GT, he got my new father in law a bricky to build some peers and ordered a set of gates to lock his GT behind since mum had her car in the garage, he also ordered a car port then went out and bought a German Shepard puppy, that was a mistake, apart from tearing ups the back yard when ever little brother came home the dog would rush to greet him by jumping up at the side door of the GT...you can imaging what the claws on the puppy feet were doing to the cars door....now and the dog wasn't choosey which door to jump up on either.....When I asked him why he got the dog, response was to protect the car....well there you go....The dog didnt stay long by the way. These days little brother still has the GT red in colour, only comes out when the sun is shinning....and only will drive it to your house as long as there's room in the drive way, its been restored twice, yes twice, I last drove it when he got married 30 odd years ago, it was at that stage ummm vintage as in no air con, no power steering....OMG basic, when I told him my last Cooper S would blow the doors off it he wasn't impressed.....Anyway its locked up in a garage with an alarm system to protect it plus he parks his car in front of the garage door when he gets home to add to the security as well...ho there is a new dog too, a golden lab, idiot dog runs from the slightest noise, his kids loved it so he couldn't move it on.... ACDC front man Brian Johnson......A Roller, Phantom Drophead, means convertible, nice car but he could improve in the dress States, and loose that stupid hat, I believe he spends time in Thailand and rumour has it he has a property in Hua His, im pretty dam sure I caught him in a pub in HH once, he was recognised by the long haired Thai band who thought they were Thailands version of the Rolling Stones, not to bad not to good ok if your <deleted> Fj...casue its golden oldies 24/7 and you know im a reggae and salsa man more modern the better too....was invited up on stage minus the stupid hat and sang 4 AC DC songs, sounded like Johnson so im assuming it was he, I of course took a toilet break during proceedings as im not an AC DC fan....but hey it was ok.... Carmen Electra, sounds like the name of a porns star right? No she's a model with nice legs and hot ass, face is ok too, Dodge Challenger....you know women have not class in cars...hubbys always buy for them...she obviously is still single... Hugh Grant, one of my favourite actors, like Jack Nicolson he only has one style and I love it....has the Renaldo touch too..Audi R8....I can see myself in that too.... Paul McCartney and mrs drive I guess in the USA a Corvette C6 convertible I did like there early 60's sports cars, anything yank is ummm unacceptable, the mind set of a yank is....we control the worlds oil fields so there for the bigger the engines the better it is... Bad boy Charlie Sheen and I dont know why he get so much bad press, he's only doing what we all wish we could get away with, Merc S class...rather tame machine for a high profile playboy... Jennifer Lopez....even at 50 has the ass your TGF would die for, looks sultry too, means god dam sexy Fj....and ho what a babe....Aston Martin DB7, she's got class and a half.... Jerry Seinfeld.....now his tv show was good but it wasn't he that was good it was the actors around him and sure it's well written too based on his early experience's, but have you seen think its called "Coffee with the Stars" on Netflix? in the show he takes out a different car with a different actor/often another comedian, I seen the short first series and it was a mild distraction from shooting up shows, the second series reinforced my thinking, Jerry is poo....terrible host, stupid questions, cant ab lip, dry as a babys bottom and some of the cars I wouldn't get caught dead in....he is actually very boring.......boringggggggggg I will say it again....he puts me to sleep.....I know that he has several garages full of cars here he is shown with a Porsche....use to be my car once too, not for a long time... Lady Ga Ga, owns a Victa version of a Lamborgini Huracan....still haven't lost the vision in my head of her and Brad googling eyes at each other...well he googling eyes at her....her yes only for the green Lambo im afraid to say Brad.... Goldie Hawn, everyones favourite bed partner from the early 70's....why? she was a giggler....the thought of making love to the cutie and her giggling when you know what....inspired an army of men....not bad for 105, Tesla Model S.. The Rock, Shaq Dwayne, I avoid everything of his...has the looks of a dope to go with the movies he makes, cant pick a decent movie script even if his life depended upon it...keeping the image alive Ford F 150....now I know he is a looser big time.... Axl Rose...for you WILL...your vintage...nice car....black Porsche 911 spunky looking machine shame about his singing....they recon he has well implied has mental health issues.....rather normal in the modern world id say... Danny Devito.....Toyota Prius because its the only car he can see over the dash of..... NFL players and there cars.... Colin Kaepernick..ex 49er and still without a job after owners ganged up on him for kneeling at the anthem...very patriotic are the yanks...its actually frightening to think that intelligent men would be so short sighted and destroy a person for his belief. Jag T Type.... Tom Brady Patriots not always in his Aston, does get around in a Black Roller.... Antonio Brown.....was a Bear WR.....and one of the best....kicked up a fuss and got traded to the Raiders...... kicked up even more of a fuss and got delisted in AFL terminology after a preseason only, quickly the Patriots swooped only too play one game then got the chop apparently the driver of this Roller Wraith has been a naughty boy with a rather large number of sexual assault cases coming up something the Pats found out only after inking a contract, some juice stories circulating about Antonio I wont bore you with the details of course.... Odell Beckham Jr...Browns WR was picked up from the Gaints end of last season one handed magic man he is known as, Browns still to find there mojo held the Seahawks a dam good team for most of the game...expect them to move on up a notch or two soon, normal in Gridiorn for teams to either raise or drop around week 7...Roller phantom and in beautiful white....2 doors job.... Joe Flacco, Broncos QB, and hopefully will save John Elway's skin, did win a superbowel with the Ravens I think or it could have been the Colts knows how to get it done but hey John not much good having a decent QB if you dont have any offensive line hogs to stop the defence getting to the QB...nice...not into yank cars but this is a honey ...Chevy Corvetter Stingray... AlexRRR
Just a quick update 24 hrs after picking up the Golf.....it has keyless entry......it means fj even blind drunk you can get into the car and start it, though i strongly recomend you dont especialy in Thailand, enough idiots on the road there and i normaly avoid driving there if i can. The key stays in your pocket only have to rub ur greasy finger over the sensor in the door handle to lock and unlock...jump in and press that big shiny silver buitton to fire up the turbo... My only disappointment is that the car did not come with this great feature when parked and engine off the side mirrors tuck in so idiots like me who sometimes get close to park cars clip mirrors driving past....Well to be fair to me firday some ass hole in a duel cab 4WD sped up and forced me into a narrow space...cliping mirrors of a parked car so hard it poped out off its internal socket...hope he gets his karma soon..like all 4 wheels falling off at 100ks an hour down hill ...the other time on the Westgate bridge a very wide semi trailer ripped off my mirror, bith times in my ute...so there.....lucky i have a panel beater for a brother with his own shop...
Popular Post Radar501
Agnetha Fältskog, better known as the blonde A in ABBA also enjoys her fazt carz including this old Triumph Spitfire roadster. Just look at those curves. I defy any teenage boy growing up in Oz during the 70's who says he didn't have a crush on the Swedish bombshell. Having said that, I wouldn't be kicking her out of bed for farting. Word on the Soi is that Alex preferred the other blonde. Benny I think his name was. Speaking of Triumph's. The brother had a Spitfire and a Stag. Both nice cars but always needing repairs. He also had a Alfa Romeo Spyder which was great. Edit* Nice touch with the ladies wearing the Carlton jumpers Radar. I do have a thing for blondes and mousie colored hair on females...i use to like some aussie tv star for quite a while then Kim showed up, Bassenger, a few more blondes along the way untill Scarlett arrived....Johansson not sure what her color hair is but she WILL do me, like my cars i change my women too.... Older brother of a mate and his mates all driving Trump TR4,5 andmaybe a 6 in there toooo...now there a hot machine still...after that...TR6 guy got his little bro to work, my mate, building a XU1 out of a Torana droped a 186s in it and it flew...he never left anything stock, when he got married and got his butcher business going his last car before suburbia was a honey, bought a Holden 1962 had done just 32,000 miles were talking mid 70's droped a 186S in it of course, 4 speed manaro box and diff with HR rear end fitted it out with Austin 1800 interior, rear seats of course were stripped and put over the orginals...looked magic...even put in air con before the days of it being normal...bloody was quick, they were a bunch of petrol heads at the end of the street...gleaming yellow XY phase 3 that threw me into the boot when he took off...ex bathurst one too restored, and before that same guy with a Beetle with full blown Porcher bits twiking his mucle of love.....wheels so wide he flared the guards.... Another mate restored a E type Jag felt funny driving it down Lygon st, put the foot down and 10 meters of bonet flew up like it was going to jet off....of course it wasnt stock, banna in color red leather, (he played around with a Cooper S for a while too) , poor guy sunk every $ he earned into this jag for 3 or 4 ys, he looked like a beggar no money for clothes or grooming...well he was still an apprentice motor mechanic but hey...after a couple of years he said the car was driving him nuts any sound he tear the car down to find it...so he sold it.....helped him buy his first house. I did hot up a XT falcon 302 once, jag man helped me, should have flew like a rocket instead it was a slug, well it wasnt a slug better than your average work car for sure, i dont know why i just didnt get a buzz outof it so i got rid of it and ended up with the S a real fun car...
